He is also an accredited auctioneer of the Auction School of Victoria (1991). In the same year he was awarded the Auctioneer of Excellence Award, held by only 13 others throughout Australia.
November 1992 saw him win the prestigious state-wide, industry-wide Salesperson of the Year Award.
Working in the Western Suburbs since 1987 has provided Doug with extensive experience in marketing a wide variety of homes, from small workers’ cottages to large million-dollar plus riverfront properties.

“I have known Doug Disher from the time I bought a house from him in Taringa in 2002. I have since engaged him on two occasions to sell properties for me and have utilised their rental services. I absolutely believe Doug achieved the best price in the market for an almost million dollar house I sold in 2010. I would recommend only daylight second in the industry. Doug, Sue and their team are the consumate professionals in the real estate game and I believe Doug and the entire firm base their day to day decision making on the best interests of their clients and the ethics which should, but not always, be shown in a difficult sales industry.
Doug’s business accumen and ethical standing in the industry make him one of the leaders. I have no hesitation in recommending him to friends, and have done so repeatedly.”
